The beverage dispenser is an excellent tool for avoiding excessive dosages, this way you can serve the exact amount. But will the customer like it?

Behind a counter, it's a show-off, but at the table, is it? What is the client's interpretation?

Many customers do not appreciate this action, many say that we are being too strict and in some cases even too strict. Truth be told, in some cases it protects the employee from those customers who don't have an eye for things, I'm referring to when the glasses give the wrong illusion of the quantity of drink served. In some cases it was necessary to use the meter to comfort the customer. Obviously, flexibility is needed when the customer is suspicious of the quantity served.

This may be one of the differences between serving at the counter and at tables. At the counter, in a bar, the customer appreciates this gesture, they even consider the employee an excellent professional and it adds a touch of modernism and finesse. But at the table things are different, we even feel the angry look from the customer, the room quickly becomes cold. In these cases, we release a smile so strong and true that the room immediately becomes warm. The fault for all this lies with the flashy glasses of whiskey, even the maraceiras. These are glasses measuring more or less 30 or 50 centiliters, when you would only need 7 centiliters. It is a case of saying: “ An optimist sees half a glass of whiskey and says it is half full. A pessimist sees half a glass of whiskey and says it is half empty. An economist sees half a glass of whiskey and wonders why the glass is twice the size needed.”
